Founder
Martha Tuttle

Martha Tuttle was a direct descendent of the Betts' family. Her mother (Florence Stevenson McCrea Benedict), her grandmother (Adeline Betts McCrea), and her great-grandfather (Isaac Betts), were all born in the house at 416 Clark Street. Largely due to her strong interest in historic preservation, the Betts House remains a living artifact to Cincinnati's rich and varied history. Mrs. Tuttle passed away recently.
